Raw Apple Cake

A moist and flavorful apple cake with a rich glaze.

Ingredients

1 cup of oil (Crisco or Wesson)
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon each of vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut flavoring
1 1/2 cups flour
4 Granny Smith apples, chopped
1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts
1/2 cup any kind of coconut
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon each of salt and soda
1 stick of margarine
1/4 cup of milk
1 cup brown sugar

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease Bundt pan and sprinkle with a little flour.

Cook 1 hour 10-20 minutes depending on your oven.

Mix the following together, stirring real good: 1 cup of oil (Crisco or Wesson), 2 cups sugar, 3 eggs, 1 teaspoon each of vanilla, cinnamon, and coconut flavoring, 1 1/2 cups flour.

Add 4 Granny Smith apples chopped, 1 cup of chopped pecans or walnuts, 1/2 cup any kind of coconut, 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon each of salt and soda.

Mix well and put into Bundt pan.

Tap on table about 3 times to settle before putting in oven.

For the Glaze for Cake: Melt 1 stick of margarine.

Add 1/4 cup of milk, 1 cup brown sugar (boil for 3 min.).

Stick holes in cake while warm and pour over cake.
