Sausage Cornbread

A deliciously savory cornbread featuring sausage and cheese perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

1 lb. bulk sausage
1 large onion
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 cups corn meal mix
1 (17 oz) cream style corn
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup oil
8 oz. shredded cheese

Instructions

2 qt. baking dish 425°. 

Brown sausage & onion, drain well.

Combine corn meal, eggs, corn, milk, oil. Pour half into dish. Then sausage mixture and cheese. Pour remainder of corn bread mixture over sausage.

Bake 30 to 40 min 425°.

Let stand 10 min.
