Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
1 cup white corn syrup
1/4 tsp red food coloring
6 medium apples
6 wooden skewers

Instructions

Mix sugar, water, food coloring and corn syrup in a boiler over moderate heat. Stir until ingredients are well mixed and begin to boil.

Cook at 250°F. Remove from heat and dip apples.
