Bring to boil in skillet on top of stove. Add 1 pound of chopped dates (or 1/2 pound of dates and 1/2 pound of raisins) and cook for 6 minutes.
Take off heat, add 4 cups of Rice Krispies, 2 cups of chopped nuts, 1 small can of coconut and 1 tsp of vanilla. Put into a bowl and mix.
Roll into balls and roll in powdered sugar.
