Cube squash and onions into bite size pieces. Boil until tender (not mushy)
In mixing bowl, mix cream of chicken, sour cream, and cheese. Fold in squash and onions. Seasoning with salt and pepper. Pour into greased baking dish
Melt 1/2 stick of butter, crumbled ritz crackers. Toss crackers in butter to coat well.
Pour crackers over top of squash mixture. Bake @ 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
