1. Start a pot of unsalted boiling water
2. While the water is coming to a boil, heat a shallow pan with enough butter to cover the bottom. Heat the butter and stir until it turns a golden brown color, being careful not to burn it. Once browned, add garlic, miso paste, and soy sauce.
3. Cook udon noodles for 2-3 minutes in boiling water, or until they are translucent.
4. Once the noodles are drained, add to pan with sauce.
