* Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Prepare crusts add directed on box using a 9 inch pie pan.
* In a sauce pan melt butter over med heat.
* Add onion, cook for 2 mins stirring frequently or until tender.
* Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended.
" Gradually stir in broth and milk, stirring until bubbly and thickened.
* Stir in chicken and mixed veggies. Remove from heat. Spoon onto pie crust, cover with second crust, seal and flute.
* Cut several slot in top crust. Bake 30-40 mins or until crust is golden brown. During the last 15-20 mins of baking cover crust edge to prevent excessive browning.
* Let stand 5 mins before serving.
This is exactly how I make my chicken pot pie. Yummy!
